Piano Lessons – 2 Tips on Scales

Piano Lessons: A good adventure is to find the major scale starting on F sharp. Use your ears and you should find it. Right hand fingering is 2 3 4 1 2 3 1 2. Left hand is 4 3 2 1 3 2 1 2. You should have found six black keys and two white keys. Now see if you can find the major scale starting on B. The right hand fingering is 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5. Left hand fingering is 4 3 2 1 4 3 2 1.

Piano Lessons: Once you have found the scale of F sharp major, see if you can find the scale of B major. You should have found five black keys and three white keys. Right hand fingering is 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5. Left hand fingering is 4 3 2 1 4 3 2 1.
